Steve Johnston is an investor, entrepreneur, and advisor who has helped campaigns, companies, and causes navigate political risk for over two decades. Prior to his roles helps advertisers place tens of millions of dollars in paid media as COO of FlexPoint Media and as an award-winning, quota-hitting sales executive at Google, he co-founded GovPredict, a B2B SaaS company that received investment from Y Combinator before being acquired. A skilled political strategist, Steve was named to Campaigns & Elections Magazine's "Rising Stars" list and the American Association of Political Consultants' “40 Under 40” list for directing the digital marketing for Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan's winning campaign in the closest United States Senate election of 2014 and working on Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. He also served as an advisor to Majority Leader Eric Cantor in Congress, leading Politico to call Steve a "digital guru." He speaks frequently about technology, advertising, and entrepreneurship as a guest lecturer at universities and panelist at industry conferences, and Forbes, Adweek, Vice, and other leading media platforms have published his insights. Steve received an AB degree in Government from Harvard and an MBA in Marketing and Operations Management (joint major) and Entrepreneurial Management from Penn’s Wharton School.
